Two- day event at the New Ipswich Historical Society, and Historic New England’s Barrett House.
Both Days: The Society will be open from noon until 4:00 p.m. Barrett House will also be open for downstairs-only tours on those days. The overall objective of the event is to introduce visitors, especially those from the local community to the resources available for researching, understanding, and interpreting local houses, schools, mill buildings, and landscapes. Visitors will be offered free copy photographs of their houses, a walking tour of the National Register Center Village Historic District, and a lecture on Sunday afternoon by Jennifer Goodman, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance. The lecture is sponsored by a grant from the Stearns Burton Lecture Fund.
